There are 130 new international students joining the returning students for a total of 500 full-time enrolled in 91原创 schools.
International students come from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Vietnam and, for the first time in a long time 鈥� Spain, Italy, Thailand and Turkey.
The students had an orientation day on Aug. 30.
The students started their day at 91原创 Secondary then set off for a visit to Dr. Sun Yet Sen Gardens, Gastown, the Olympic Torch, Stanley Park and English Bay.
International students stay with host families in 91原创.
Because they pay to attend school in 91原创, the district depends on their annual fees as a big helper to their budget.
