The Surrey RCMP is investigating what it鈥檚 calling a 鈥渟uspicious鈥� death in the 16100-block of 110 Avenue in Fraser Heights after being called to a residence there on Sunday (Nov. 5).
鈥淲hen police arrived, they found an adult male deceased,鈥� Sgt. Tammy Lobb said. 鈥淥ne person was arrested and later released. Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit now has conduct of the investigation.鈥�
Lobb said the individuals new each other and police believe this was an 鈥渋solated incident鈥� with no risk to the 鈥済reater public.
鈥淭he Serious Crime Unit is working closely with the BC Coroners Service and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death,鈥� Lobb said.
