Const. Jason Doucette says investigators have not yet determined a motive for the killings, or whether it was targeted or random.
鈥淭here is nothing so far to suggest this was anything but a random crime. That鈥檚 why we are asking the public to look out for one another, and report anything suspicious to 9-1-1,鈥 Doucette said in a statement.
Police were called to the home around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to check on the well being of the couple.
Meanwhile, a Kia Soul that police believe could be involved in the investigation was found parked and unoccupied last night at around 9:30 p.m. in south Vancouver.
Police have not confirmed if the vehicle has any link.
