From artwork to furniture, electronics, tools, sports equipment, memorabilia, jewelry, clothing and even bottles of alcohol, the 91原创 RCMP found so much stolen property at a Surrey residence last March that they had to rent a three-ton truck to haul it all away.
Now, they'd like to return the unclaimed items to their rightful owners.
The mountain of stolen property was recovered during the execution of a search warrant on March 16 in the 5500 block of 129 Street in Surrey. The home's only occupant, a woman identified as a prolific property offender in 91原创, was arrested during the search for outstanding warrants.
Officers from 91原创鈥檚 Street Enforcement Unit rented a truck to recover all the stolen property in the residence. They spent an entire day filling the truck as well as two additional vehicles.
Police also recovered a 2002 Porsche Boxster, which had been stolen during a break-and-enter in Surrey over the Valentine鈥檚 Day weekend.
In all, more than 160 items were seized during the search.
Police believe the property was taken during break and enters committed between November, 2013 and March, 2014 in the Surrey and 91原创 areas.
Investigators have returned the majority of the property to its original owner, including the Boxster and virtually the complete contents of a home.
