Rick Green (for MAYOR) 芒鈧 Yes I would support a minimum toll on all bridges within the region sharing the cost with all residents going forward. This is something I agreed with when on the Mayors Translink Council. Township residents are unfairly penalized by tolls on the Golden Ears and Port Mann. Live North of the river and you have West Coast Express and no tolls into the region to the West. Live on the South side of the Fraser and you get penalized and unfairly treated.
Petrina Arnason 芒鈧 YES. I broadly believe in the 芒鈧搖ser pay芒鈧 policy and that the costs of developing new bridge infrastructure should be borne primarily by those deriving the primary benefit from its use. Those south of the Fraser should not be unduly penalized with a toll if other bridges, both current and future, are not tolled in a similar manner.
David Davis 芒鈧 Yes. I support a user pay system.
Charlie Fox 芒鈧 Yes, all Metro Vancouver residents should have to pay on all bridges for Translink improvements. No favours to any region or community of residents as exists now.
Clint Lee 芒鈧 Yes, so that tolls on the Port Mann and Golden Ears can be brought down. We need an evenly dispersed regional transportation strategy that does not penalize residents south of the Fraser River.
Patricia Lessard 芒鈧 YES, I believe the costs should be shared amongst the region.
Jackie Mandzak 芒鈧 Yes. By putting a small toll on all bridges, rather than a large toll on the current two, we would share the burden with all areas that use bridges and tunnels to commute. This is a fair and equitable way to pay for infrastructure, rather than putting the cost onto only a portion of the Metro Vancouver area.
Kevin Mitchell 芒鈧 YES, if the toll was reasonable (say $1.00 Per bridge each way).
Scott Nichols 芒鈧 Yes. But the tolls must be smaller. I support the opinion of Dianne Watts, mayor of Surrey. She says, 芒鈧揟o be fair and equitable, we need to make it either 75 cents or $1 and spread it around to all bridges.芒鈧
Kim Richter 芒鈧 YES. It芒鈧劉s time for the rest of Metro Vancouver to support us 芒鈧 not the other way around. We already pay our own fair share and then some.
