Shots fired in South 91原创 neighbourhood

Shell casings found, but no evidence of victims or suspects, police say.

Shots were fired in South 91原创 on Monday,  July 14, but it doesn鈥檛 appear anyone was hit, said 91原创 RCMP.

Residents in the 21000 block of 2 Avenue, just north of the U.S.-Canada border, called police around midnight after shots rang out in their neighbourhood.

91原创 RCMP attended and found shell casings in the area, but no suspects or victims were located, confirmed 91原创 RCMP spokesperson Const. Craig van Herk.

Police did find a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home with a flat tire that may have been shot out by a bullet, but that hasn鈥檛 been confirmed, said van Herk.

There are no people living in that area who are known to police, so it鈥檚 unclear what or who may have been the target of the shooting, said van Herk.

Anyone with information for police is asked to call 91原创 RCMP at 604-532-3200.
