Driver of van, 69, transported to hospital after Monday afternoon collision in 91Ô­´´ City

The driver, a 91Ô­´´ resident, was transported to hospital. She was expected to make a full recovery from her injuries, said to be relatively minor. There were four passengers on the transit bus. Neither they nor the bus driver required a trip to hospital.

A 69-year-old 91Ô­´´ woman was transported to hospital by ambulance after the van she was driving collided with a transit bus at the intersection of Logan Avenue and 203 Street Monday afternoon in 91Ô­´´ City.

91Ô­´´ RCMP reported the woman's injuries appeared relatively minor.

There were four passengers in addition to the driver on the transit bus. None required a trip to hospital.

Witnesses have told police the van was heading south on 203 when it tried to turn left on Logan where it was hit by the bus.

The collision blocked northbound traffic on the 204 Street overpass for about an hour.
