A vigil for Devon Goodrick heard pleas for people who have information about the 91原创 man鈥檚 disappearance to step up.
鈥淧eople need to come forward,鈥 family friend Terrance Shatzko told more than two dozen friends, family and supporters who gathered on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at Douglas Park in 91原创 City.
Shatzko said rather than 鈥渙verwhelming鈥 the family with rumours, people should be going to the police.
鈥淲e will find out the truth,鈥 Shatzko said.
鈥淣one of us will stop, I promise.鈥

It was the second vigil held for Goodrick, 26, who was last seen early Saturday, Sept. 25, in the area of 192nd Street and 28th Avenue in Surrey.
Candles were lit in front of his picture, with a sign that said 鈥渉elp us bring home Devon.鈥
He was reported missing by his family on Monday, Sept. 27.
His dad, Nick Goodrick, also appealed for people with information to come forward, saying he鈥檚 had 鈥50 days of missing my son.鈥
鈥淚f Devon were here, I would be the happiest man on the planet,鈥 Nick said.
Another speaker, who described himself as Devon鈥檚 best friend since he was eight, said withholding evidence that could solve the case was a 鈥渟lap in everybody鈥檚 face.鈥
鈥淚 just want my best friend back,鈥 added the man, who declined to give his name.

Nick and Nikki said they haven鈥檛 heard anything from the investigators since.
鈥淚 understand, because it could tamper with the investigation,鈥 Nikki told the 91原创 Advance Times.
鈥淏ut it鈥檚 still frustrating,鈥 she added.
鈥淲e just hope we get our answers soon,鈥 Nick told the gathering.
