PETTIT, Brian Leonard
March 8, 1950 - September 19, 2008
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and son after a short courageous battle with cancer. Formerly of Edmonton, Alberta, he is survived by Doris, his devoted wife and best friend of 31 years, sons Lane & Lee, daughter Melissa; mother Doris A. Pettit; sisters Cheryl Swanek & Doris Rock (Chuck); brother Marvin, and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father Len in 1980.
Moving to 91原创 in 1985, Brian became the General Sales Manager of Barrett Marketing Group (formerly Huston Leisure Products Ltd.) where he remained employed until his passing. Through these years Brian became a valued and respected member of B.C.'s marine industry through which he made many lifetime friends.
Countless other friends and memories were made through his years of involvement with the 91原创 Minor Hockey and Valley Ball Hockey Associations.
Most treasured times where spent at his beloved cabin in Hope, B.C. where his hard work and attention to detail is evident through it's beauty.
Brian was a kind and generous man. In the spirit of his generosity we respectfully ask that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to 91原创 Hospice Society or the Salvation Army. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 11 am at Sharon United Church, 21562 Old Yale Road 91原创.
