Passed away peacefully on June 27, 2008. Predeceased February 15, 2008 by husband Bob. Lovingly remembered by sons Rod (Carol), Bruce, Craig (Catherine), daughter Wendy (Don), niece Stephanie (David),

brother Ernie (Betty) and sister Helen. Fondly remembered by many family, friends and former colleagues.

Grandma will be missed by grandchildren Amanda, Stuart, Kevin, Ryan, Brandon, Isabelle, Emily, and great-granddaughter Emma.

Dodie was born in Vancouver on June 25, 1924, and was raised in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver.

For many years, Dodie worked at BC Tel, and it was there that she met her good friend Mary, who introduced her to Bob. Bob and Dodie were married in 1948 and settled in 91原创 in 1954, where many great friendships were forged. Dodie worked as a secretary with the 91原创 School Board, working at the Board Office, 91原创

Central and then Blacklock until her

retirement in 1984.

Dodie was an active member of the 91原创 Lady Lions Club, having been a member since coming to 91原创.

After retirement she enjoyed the Tuesday Ladies Golf, helping at the Baby Clinic and many bridge parties.

Her faith in God and her many church friends from St. Andrews were always an important part of her life.

Thank you to the LMH Emergency and 2 South staff for your help and kindness. Special thanks to the Hunter family and the Sturmey Road neighbours for many years of friendship and support.

A memorial service will be held on

Saturday, July 5 at 11 am at St.

Andrews Anglican Church, 20955 Old Yale Road, 91原创.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in the memory of Dodie may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Research.
