ZIHRUL, Doreen Ellen (nee Timewell), 83, died September 15, 2012, at her home in 91原创, BC. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 at 2pm with viewing one hour prior, at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC. Doreen was born at Mossey River, MB September 18, 1928. After graduating high school she became a rural school teacher before marrying Ted in 1947. The family moved to Vancouver in 1958 where she enjoyed a full life of family, gardening, sewing & crafts. She gathered us all together in the warmth of her heart and shared her love and kindness. Family and her garden were a constant joy and she spent many hours tending both. She will be greatly missed. Doreen was predeceased by her parents, George & Bertha (nee Dumas) Timewell, her husband Theodore; her sisters Joyce Cathers and Clara Wellborn.
She is survived by her sister, Violet Zihrul; brother, Jim (Margaret) Timewell; three children, Judy (Gary) Bowen, Brad (Rene) Zihrul and Carla Wolf; grandchildren Larissa (Jon) Visbach, David (Amy) McMurtry, Jason Zihrul Fuller, Ryan Zihrul, Sonya Zihrul and great grandchildren, Zemeirah, Naima, and Zion Visbach, and Aiden and Nathan McMurtry.
