COURT, Douglas Terrence. The family of Doug Court sadly announce his passing on June 13th, 2014. Doug will be lovingly remembered by Marcy, his wife of 44 years; his mother Joan; twin sister Gail (Bob); sister Lesley (Raymond); sister Janice (Nick), nieces, nephews, God-children, all of Marcy's family, and friends. Doug was born in Kamloops in 1946, to Joan and the late Terrence Sinclair Court. The family moved to Kemano in 1952, to Vancouver in 1954, and to Surrey in 1959. When Doug and Marcy married they moved to 91原创. Doug graduated with a degree in Engineering Technology at BCIT In June 1969. He worked at Weldwood of Canada and taught electrical apprenticeship at BCIT before starting his own business in 1980 and has enjoyed a rewarding and successful career in the field of electrical design drawing and consulting. He was proud of his business ethic and strived to put honesty, integrity, and fairness first in all his associations and projects.
Doug was a true, loyal, and honest friend and was dedicated to his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at
Valley View Memorial Gardens 14660 - 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to 91原创 Hospice Society or 91原创 Memorial Hospital Foundation.
