Houghton, George Speed. Passed away peacefully at 91原创 Lodge on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his brothers, Jack and Ernie, George is survived by Naomi, his loving wife of 61 years. He leaves, also, his daughter, Holly (Ed) Toole and son Glen (Luz) Houghton; his grandchildren, Nicole, Roxanne, Abigail and Vivienne, as well as his sister, Margaret (Robert) Jenkins. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. George worked for the last 20 + years in the breeding of thoroughbred horses in the 91原创 area. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the 3rd floor of 91原创 Lodge, for their kindness and care given to George and Naomi, during their stay there. Private family service arrangements, but for those desiring, donations made in George's memory to 91原创 Lodge would be most appreciated.
