GROVES, Jack George (Bubs / Bubba)
January 26, 1937 - January 3, 2017
Jack George Groves (Bubs/Bubba), age 79, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was born in Vancouver, BC, the youngest of five children.
Jack is survived by his five children: Sandra, Barbara, Allan, Chad, and Shane; his many grandchildren; siblings Audrey and Bob; soul mate Judy and her daughters, Marlene and Lavone; and his countless friends.
Jack was a vivacious man who lived a life full of love, happiness, integrity, and exuberance. Truly a 鈥渏ack-of-all-trades鈥�, he was always willing to provide a helping hand, a listening ear, or a much needed laugh. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved coffee, cooking and sharing his table with others.
After receiving a heart transplant 30 years ago, he continued in life as an amazing father, a loving grandfather, a caring brother, and the greatest friend that anyone could ask for.
