NEISS, Jim D.K., born Feb 7th, 1951 in Germany. We are extremely shocked and saddened to announce the sudden passing of our 鈥淛immy鈥 in such a catastrophic truck accident in the early morning of Tuesday, Jan 18th, 2011. Jimmy will be missed by the love of his life, Brenda Michie, White Rock, with whom he shared many adventures, including a wonderful six month holiday in the sun, when they headed due south in their camper. Jimmy had a permanent tan, was a desert rat, and loved the sun, Mexican food and margaritas!

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Dorothy Neiss, and his sister, Sunny (Al) Picozzi, and nephew, Gino, all of Arizona, as well as his life long friends George Lloyd, of Coupeville, Washington, and Greg LaRiviere, of Palm Springs, California.

Jimmy grew up in New York City, graduating form Haaren High School, moving to Toronto, and owning his own antique store in Picton, Ontario. Jim moved to White Rock in 1986, and met Brenda in 1988. He loved a good debate and often took up the argument on the opposing side just to watch the fun!. For the past 8 years of his life, Jim drove a school bus for the 91原创 School District, driving specialneeds children to and from school. He had a wonderful way with the children, and was very popular with them and their appreciative parents. He will be sorely missed by them, and by the Bus Company, who report that Jim was an early bird to work every day, extremely reliable and added his brand of crusty humour to the daily routine. Brenda's family have many wonderfulmemories of Jimmy, over the past 20 years. He was loved, and will alway be fondly remembered by Brenda's mother, Mary Beales, sister Maureen McMillan, White Rock, and neice Kathy (Mike) Williams, Surrey, and their three children, Ethan, Drew, Kate, and niece Ellen Kelly, Invermere, and her two children, Marhyn and Jack MacSteven. We are going to miss you so much, Jim.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club, 1284 - 184th Street, Surrey, V3S 9R9, on Saturday, Jan. 29th, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club (a place Jim loved) or the 91原创 School District Foundation, Special Needs Students, 4878 - 222nd St. 91原创, B.C.
