It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joni Tessier. She passed away painlessly and peacefully in the presence of her loving family. Joni leaves behind her beloved husband of 20 years; Bruno, daughters Alana (Kyle) and Jennifer (Kaiya), son-in-law Cameron (Rebecca) and grandson Jesse. She will also be lovingly remembered by her father, Kenneth, her brothers; Ken (Cathi), Ted (Nadine) and Tom (Anne), her father-in-law Charles, brothers-inlaw Pierre (Valerie), Daniel (Anne-Marie), Andr茅 (Beth) and sister-in-law Guylaine (St茅phane). She will also be dearly missed by her caring nieces and nephews; Jason, Brandon, Mitchell, Cody, Scott, Caitie, Christian, Simon, Marc, Philip, Paul, Alex, Eric, Vincent and Mari猫ve. Mostly Joni will be remembered by countless friends, colleagues and acquaintances that she has touched through the years with her loving and caring personality. Our lives will forever be changed by her courage and her strength. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 25th at 1:00pm at Bakerview Celebration Centre, 34863 Cemetery Avenue in Mission. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joni鈥檚 name may be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice, where she was so compassionately cared for in the last weeks of her life.
