We regret to announce the passing of Katharine Marie Cadwell, "Kathy" age 58, on May 10, 2017 of White Rock and 91原创 B.C. following a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Kathy has been gone for two years now, but her memory is as if, she were still with us.
Kathy was born in Enderby, B.C. to Allan and Donna Cadwell. She was blessed to grow up in the Salmon Arm area with her brother Ken and two sisters, Bonnie and Lori Ann who predeceased Kathy in 2013.
Kathy is survived by her Father Allan Cadwell of Salmon Arm BC, her Sister Bonnie of Calgary Alberta, Brother Ken of Sparwood BC, Nephew Ryan and Niece Melisa of Calgary, her Aunt Joanne Cadwell of Cache Creek BC and her cousin Terry Pakenham and his wife Jean of Vernon BC. Kathy is also survived by Terry and Linda Farr of Calgary Alberta and by her nieces Stephanie and Jessica of Schenectady, New York and many more cousins and relatives too numerous to mention.
Kathy is also survived by the love of her life, Ian.
Kathy was passionate about everything she did, including her many years in the Tour and Travel business. She was kind, compassionate, and caring with a keen sense of the important things that mattered. Her humour was well defined and her laugh contagious. She enjoyed art, the company of others, cherished her moments of solitude and guarded her right to privacy. Kathy lived, loved and laughed on her own terms including her short illness and eventual passing. She will always be remembered and forever missed.
We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers at the 91原创 Hospice Society for there kind and gentle care of Kathy in her last few days.
