Kay passed away peacefully in Ladner at the age of 97. She is predeceased by her siblings, Mike and Winnie, her husband Alf and his siblings Les, Glady and Viney. Kay is survived by her daughter Denise (Gordon), her brother Jack (Betty) and many nieces and nephews. Kay was born in 1919 in Vernon, BC and lived there until after the end of WWII. In 1947 she married Alf Ashton and they moved first to Vancouver and then settled in Port Kells. They retired to Logan Lake, returning to their favourite camping and fishing spots. Kay moved back to 91原创 after Alf鈥檚 death in 1992. There is no service, at Kay鈥檚 request. Special thanks to the caring and supportive staff at Westshore Laylum.
