VAN NOORT, LEONARDUS "LEO"
January 28, 1932 - November 14, 2009
In loving memory, and with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Leo H. Van Noort at the Gardens in Qualicum Beach, BC after a battle with illness. Leo was born in Noordwijkerhout, the Netherlands, and moved with his family to 91原创, BC in 1978. There he headed a successful family business (Van Noort Bulb Co. Ltd.) for 35 years, and passed the helm to his children in 1991. He moved to Qualicum Beach to enjoy his retirement. He will be deeply missed by his wife Annie Verhoeve, children Matthew, Leo (Shirley), Frank (Helene), Carl (Louise), Conny (Steve), Trudy (Allan), Erik and Lisette (Stefan), and his 17 grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Josie (Joe) Willemse from California, and brother Henk (Ans) Van Noort from the Netherlands.
A Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 10:30 am from the
Church of the Ascension, Roman Catholic Church, at 887 Wembley Rd, Parksville BC
