Mervyn Robert Hunter
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Merv at age 87, on September 29, 2015, in 91原创, BC. Predeceased by son Gordon survived by his wife of 62 years Margaret, son Terry (Barb) grandson Steve (Sarah) granddaughter Leanne, 3 great grandchildren Karis, Sam and Lucy, sister Jean, and several nieces & nephews. Merv had a 67 year career doing something he loved fabricating sheet metal. He was a former 91原创 City Fire Chief, and former 91原创 City Alderman for many years. Merv and Marg were both very involved in 91原创 Little League. An avid baseball player, golfer, curler, sports fisherman, and a snowbird. We will be honoring Merv鈥檚 life with a celebration on Saturday, October 10 at 2 pm.
