Born in Fenwood Saskatchewan to Fred and Katherine Spearey (nee Rickard), Mona was predeceased by her parents and brothers Ted and Bob. She will be forever remembered by her brother Tom and her children Troy (Lesley), Miles, and Dino, and her grandchildren Nolan, Christian, Damon, Paige and Mariah. Mona grew up and began her family in Melville Saskatchewan before moving to North Vancouver and eventually becoming a Postmaster with Canada Post before retiring to 91原创, BC. A long-standing member of the American Contract Bridge League, Mona also enjoyed knitting, hunting and frequent visits to Reno - always returning from the blackjack tables with at least double the cost of her trip. She had a great sense of humour, a large heart and was generous and always available to help or just listen, and will be missed by all. Mona passed away peacefully at the Kiwanis Care Facility in North Vancouver. Our sincere thanks to her caregivers for their dedication, devotion and kindness. A small family gathering will be held at a future date.
