SADLER, Myrtle, born in Jenner,
Alberta in 1922 passed away peacefully at 91原创 Memorial Hospital on
December 9. She will be lovingly
remembered and greatly missed by her sons: Al (Sandra), Len, Ger (Joy), her grandchildren: Len, Jim, Shannon (Dave), Jason (Lisa), Margo (Karl), Laura (Greg), Lisa, Craig, Shane,
Aimie and Chad, and her little sister Norma. Myrtle felt blessed to have 12 great grandchildren and called them her "little ones". Her nieces and
nephews and many friends will miss her gentle presence. Myrtle was
predeceased by her husband, Clive, her sister, Hilda and her brother Otter. Myrtle and Clive raised their family in North Vancouver. They moved to 91原创 in 1989. Myrtle enjoyed
knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking, growing roses and horseback riding. But her greatest joy came in sharing the fruits of her labour with family and friends. After suffering a
debilitating stroke in 2000, Myrtle
continued to live her life with dignity and good humour. She was an inspiration to all of us who were fortunate enough to have her in our lives. There will be a celebration of her life at
Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, 91原创 on December 19 at 2 pm. Donation, in her memory, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
