Passed away peacefully. Norm lived in 91原创 all his life and was known by his friends as "Mr. 91原创". At age 15, he worked on freighters up and down the coast. Norm's next job was Quartermaster on a passenger ship from Vancouver to Squamish. He loved the ocean. He married Bette (Jensen) in 1955 and drove truck for 91原创 Freight Lines for 15 years. Was a well known building contractor in 91原创 area for 25 years, a past Kinsmen, one of the original members of the 91原创 Curling Club. Was an avid waterskier and taught many people to ski. His passion was motorcycles, on road and off road. Norm rode well into his sixties. He looked forward to his poker, tennis, crib games and having coffee with his buddies. He loved to socialize.
Norm will be sadly missed by wife, Bette; sons Garry (Jill), Glen (Amber), Ken (Julie); grandchildren Karmin, Kellie, Jennifer, Jessica, Damian, Sarese and Maya; sister Gladys, sister-in-law Enid and extended family and friends. Many thanks to Marrwood Care Home. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 1pm at the 91原创 Masonic Hall, 20701 Fraser Highway. Donations of remembrance to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
