Patricia Agnes Davies (nee Chapman) 91, 91Ô­´´, BC passed away peacefully in the company of family November 24, 2016. Patricia was born December 14, 1924 in New Brunswick and emigrated to her mother’s home of Hawkley in Hampshire, England at four months old. She proudly served the British war effort for 5 years in the Auxiliary Territorial Service before returning to Canada to join her new husband – settling in Richmond, BC for many years. Known for her love of animals and gardening, Pat was an accomplished horsewoman and professional naturalist artist. As a founding or early member she was involved with the Fraser Valley Hunt, the Richmond Artist Guild as well as The Richmond Riding & Driving Club. She is survived by five of her children, John (Sheila), Donna (Greg), Dave (Sharon), Patrick (Donna), and Todd, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and counting, as well as her beloved nephew, Christopher Chapman of Lincolnshire, UK. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Richard, daughter Lynn (Terry) and her siblings, Harry Chapman and Marion Barron. A Memorial Service to celebrate Pat’s life will take place at Henderson's 91Ô­´´ Funeral Home, 91Ô­´´, BC on Tuesday, December 20th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Horse Council BC or the BC Therapeutic Riding Association.
