RITCHIE, Phyllis Dench, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2009. Born in North Vancouver, January 6th 1920. Phyllis lived in Hammond, New Westminster, Vancouver, Richmond & Fort 91原创 where she raised her family. She was predecesed by her husband Cam (1973). Phyllis is survived by her loving family; 3 sons, John, (Leslie), Dean (Lorraine), Donald (Dorothy) and 1 daughter Carolyn. 3 grandchildren, Olivia (Neil), Brent (Kristie) & Loralee (Neall), 4 great grandchildren, a sister Caroline (Jack), nieces & nephews. Phyllis enjoyed a full life, one which included many bridge games, friends, operas, & travels. She enjoyed her garden & knitting and was a Girl Guide commissioner and an active member of the Altar Guild for her church, as well as a docent for the 91原创 Centennial Museum. She will be remembered for her dignified ways & her elegance. A Celebration of Life will be held February 28th at 1 p.m. at St George's Anglican Church, Fort 91原创.
