MANN, Randy

It is with great sadness that the family of Randy Mann announces his passing on January 4, 2015 at the age of 55 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his father Bill, sisters Geni (Leo) and Joni (Don), and brother Bill (Cheryl). Randy will also be missed by his nephew Andrew and nieces Megan (Matt and son Lucas), Emily and Katrina. Randy touched the lives of many people, and for some like Doug Jr. and Amanda, Randy was often thought of as an uncle. Randy was predeceased by his mother Augustina and brother James. Randy spent his early years in North Delta where he went to school and delivered newspapers; then in his teens his family moved to 91原创. After school he worked for a short while at a garage in Brookswood tinkering with cars. When this business shut its doors, Randy joined the Super Save Group as one of the company's first employees. He stayed with the company working in various roles and ended his career as VP of Logistics and Manufacturing. In his free time Randy enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, high performance cars and playing "Go-Fish" with his niece. Those who knew Randy will remember his kindness and consideration of others, his strength, commitment and focus, and of course his Hawaiian shirts and suspenders. He was a big man with an even bigger heart who was always willing to lend a hand and offer a laugh, to lighten loads and lift spirits. Randy's family would like to thank Bill and Doug Vandekerhove, Dr. Chapman and staff, and the nurses of the 91原创 Home Care and 91原创 Memorial Hospital for all their kindness and support. At Randy's request a private family service will be held, and his remains will be interred in 91原创.
