TIMMER, Rick and Geertje. In Loving Memory of our Parents. Rick passed on April 5, 2014 at the age of 90 and was joined by his loving wife Geertje on May 29, 2014 at the age of 89. Forever in the Lords Hands. Parents of five children: Marten (Mercedes), Bill, Hennie, Nellie (Oeds Smid) and Richard (Maureen). Grandparents of eight grandchildren: Mark, Chris, Tanner, Hank, Mathew, Adam, Jordan, and Robyn.
Rick and Geertje were born in Ermelo, Holland, during the year 1924 and celebrated 62 years of marriage. They immigrated to Canada in 1958, and were long-time residing dairy farmers of Pitt Meadows. A private Memorial Service for Geertje was held at Valley View Funeral Home on June 7, 2014.
A Celebration of Life for Rick and Geerje will be held July 26, 2014.
