Robert Leslie Charles Hutson (68) of Cloverdale, BC died January 2, 2015 after a heroic battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Survived by his loving wife Linda; her children Zayvin(Carrie), Ty(Cindy), Kira; grandchildren Quinnlyn, Averey, Andrew and Amy. Bob is also survived by his brother Michael Hutson, family and friends in Ontario. Bob entered the Canadian Military at age 17 and protected Canadian rights and freedoms in countries such as Vietnam, Tanzania, Bosnia and the former USSR. In civilian life he held technical positions including camera technician for the film industry in Toronto and Vancouver. Throughout his life, Bob鈥檚 passion was the intricacy of engines. He built his first motorcycle at age 14 and his first car the next year. Porsche or Harley Chopper, Bob built/rebuilt them from tires to bodywork to engines. In recent years, 鈥淗awgRyder鈥� was an honoured member of the Pelican (Porsche) online forum and active in the computer gaming community. Bob was always so generous with his time and knowledge. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held in the coming weeks.
