NELSON, Ruth Elsie (McAnninch) (GG)
May 5, 1928 - January 27, 2015
With sad hearts the family of Ruth announce her passing on January 27, 2015. Ruth was born in Kindersley, SK and moved to Murrayville as a small child. She attended Murrayville Elementary School and 91原创 Central High School, she was also a member of Job's Daughters. She is predeceased by her husband Robert McCallum Nelson (1977), 3 brothers Gordon, Bruce and Stuart and sister Jean Dillon. She is survived by her sons Brian (Wendy), Brad (Laurel), grandchildren Scott Nelson and Megan Burden (Brennan) and great grand children Calin and Liam Burden, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ruth will lovingly be remembered by her friends and family, we will miss her stories about growing up in Murrayville, her "Death by Chocolate" desserts, her exuberance for life, her love of tuxedo cats and her wonderful dinner parties. She loved to garden at her home on Barvis Hill and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandsons. She was an avid bridge player and in her younger years could play a mean game of tennis. She loved to travel, visited many countries and spent many winters in California. By request there is no funeral service, the family will have a graveside service laying her to rest along side her beloved husband Bobby. A celebration of life is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to your favourite charity in Ruth's name would be appreciated.
