With great sadness, the family of Shirley Ann Marjorie Baker (nee Burdett) announces her sudden passing on June 11, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband Roy in 2002 and is survived by her mother, Frances Burdett; daughter Linda; son David and his wife, Susan; cherished granddaughters Lauren and Justine; and numerous relatives and friends. A memorial for Shirley will be held at Willoughby Hall (8280-208th Street) on June 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Society, the Willoughby Hall Society, the 91原创 Heritage Society, or the 1952 Grad Class Scholarship would be appreciated.
Shirley was well known for her volunteer work and in 2006/07 received recognition from the Fraser Health Region in the category of Service Delivery for her more than thirty years as the coordinator of baby clinics in 91原创.
