BUTT, Stanley Francis (Stan) passed away peacefully on May 26, 2011 in 91原创, BC. He was the son of the late James W. and Caroline (Doyle) Butt. Born in Dartmouth, NS, on Nov. 6, 1926, he was 84 years of age. He was a resident of Bedford and later the Hydrostone area of Halifax. In 1994 Stan moved to 91原创 BC, with long-time companion Kathleen Warner and her children and grandchildren (Ian Warner, Andrea Warner and Craig and Kyle Vaughan) where he lived until his death. Stan was a retired accredited real estate appraiser, a self-proclaimed inventor and a straight talker with a good sense of humour. He is survived by sons S. Francis Jr. and Barry (Margo) of Bedford, NS, and brother Raymond of Dartmouth. He was predeceased by brother, James, of Toronto and sister, Catherine, of Halifax. At Stan's request there will be no service or reception. Cremation has taken place, ashes to be interred in Surrey, BC at a later date.
