He was known to family and friends as Al; passed away in Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 after a short illness. Al was independent and enjoyed his years of retirement camping, fishing and puttering around always keeping busy. Many of those years were spent living on the water front in Lac La Hache, BC before moving back to 91原创, BC to be closer to family and friends. He was also very proud to be a 4th generation 91原创 pioneer. He is survived by three sons; John (Korene), Doug (Lana), Cam (Wendy), his four grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Jessica and Nicole. At Al's request, there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers he has requested memorial gifts be donated in his name to the favorite charity of the donators choice. Al will be deeply missed by family and friends.
