MacGREGOR Sylvia (Hutchinson). Our bright light has passed on. Sylvia was an intellectually curious woman who excelled academically, winning a scholarship to university. She had a strong sense of social justice and was an avid reader, gardener, bridge player and lover of libraries. She had a lifelong interest in birding. Raised in Montreal, she maintained a close relationship with her parents, Elsa and Len and her sister Norma. She married her Scot and #1 fan Alistair and remained happy with that decision over the course of their 60 years together. Sylvia was a supportive, interested and loving mother to Anne (Deb) and Alison (Calum). She was proud of her grandchildren Laura and Kyle. She valued her friendships deeply.
