Walter Griffioen went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 85, on August 29, 2018. Born in the Netherlands in 1932, he immigrated to BC in 1958 with his bride, Marion (Ge) Hoogendoorn.
He is mourned by his wife of 60 years, his children, Helen (Art) , Carla (Ron) , Mark (Tricia), and Bruce (Kristy) , and his brothers and sisters Lena, Marry, Wim, Co, Gerrit, Phia, Dirk and Ria. He is also greatly missed by his fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, his brothers Cor, Bert, Ab, and his great-grandson, Kohen.
