Wayne passed away in Puerto Vallarta , Mexico. He leaves to mourn, his mother Gloria, sister Cheryl and her daughter Shelby of Naniamo. Cheryls son Travis died June 26, 2012 in Naniamo. Wayne's father Doug died in 1997. The love of his life was Laura Lopez-Labra. She and her family loved and cared deeply for Wayne in his 22 years there. Wayne also had many friends in Maple Ridge and Vancouver and his many, many amigos in Puerto Vallarta. Mass was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on October 29, 2012, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
