We are saddened to announce that Bill passed away on January 6 at 91原创 Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer, with his wife, Gail, and daughter, Kim, at his side. Bill was the son of 91原创 pioneers and was the highly respected owner of WR Shields Contractors Ltd. of Surrey, BC. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Gail, his children, Wendy, Trevor, Kim (Brandon), three grandchildren, his sisters, Doreen and Arlene and several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brother, Roland, and his parents, Charles and Barbara Shields. A Celebration of his life will be held at Henderson鈥檚 91原创 Funeral Home on January 20 at 11:00am.
