After an exciting and energetic life that took her from British Columbia to Alaska and around the world Zabel Haydee Duffy passed away peacefully at the Delta Hospital on Sunday March 8, 2009 at the age of 90. 鈥淶az鈥� will be forever missed by her son Patrick Duffy (Jeannette), grandsons Cameron Duffy (Opal) and Colin Crossfield (Jennifer), granddaughters Tina Robinson (Brad) and Karla Crossfield (Bob), great granddaughters Toni, Lauren, Vicki, Sister Genevieve Walker, niece Diane (Peter) and her beloved friends Nonie, Charles, Marion (Alaska), Iris (Ottawa), everyone at the River Glen in 91原创 and many others.
In respect of her wishes a funeral service will not be held. If so desired, donations to the Northcrest Care Centre (6771 120th St. Delta, BC, V4E 2N7) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
A celebration of her life will be held in May at her son Patrick鈥檚 home in Surrey.
