I enjoyed reading Bob Groeneveld鈥檚 column [When downtown was a million miles, Feb. 11 Opinion, 91原创 Advance].
I am also formerly from Port Alberni.
Bob鈥檚 column brought back fond memories of 鈥渄owntown Port鈥� and the lunch counters of Woolworth鈥檚.
