Dear Editor,

A number of stores in 91原创 are taking advantage of part-time workers instead of employing full-time permanent staff. Many of these part-timers would love to get a permanent job, but are only being offered part-time work.

A number of young people are in fact being 鈥減ermanently鈥 employed on a part-time basis by these stores, which have, say, two 鈥減ermanently鈥 employed part-timers doing the work that one permanent employee would do. In this way, they are saving by not having the cost of pension, sick pay, and holiday costs to contend with.

This is grossly unfair to our younger generation, who are being paid a pittance instead of having a full-time job with prospects of further advancement.
