Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre arrives on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024. Poilievre says he’s in favour of mandatory, involuntary drug and psychiatric treatment for kids and prisoners who are found to be incapable of making decisions for themselves. Dear Editor,

I have a very strong message for the federal Conservative Party. Your obnoxious, insulting, negative ads do nothing but, in my opinion, turn people off.

If I hear Pierre Poilievre telling us how bad it is to live in Canada one more time, I will lose my lunch!

I ask you, what do these ads remind you of? How about Trump and the USA Republican Party’s negative ads? Trump is constantly saying how they are a failing nation, etc., etc.

Guess what Pierre, if it’s so bad here, go live elsewhere! See ya.
