LETTER: No way Canada should be 51st state

Dear Editor,

So now the [president] in the United States has slapped a 25 per cent tariff on all steel and aluminum going into that country.

I sincerely hope our government is going to retaliate in kind!

If you are watching closely what is happening there right now, you will draw the same conclusion as I have. What Trump is doing
now is approaching Nazi Germany.

What blows me away is this idiot wants us to be the 51st state. Yes indeed, let鈥檚 all pay $800 a month for medical coverage with a $2,000 deductible!

The time to retaliate is now, and vigorously!
