The rock trio, which took top spot at the final 91原创 Has Talent competition last April, were pleased to hear Prime Minister Justin Trudeau call for more Canadian men to stand up for women鈥檚 rights. That has been the central message of the band, which is named for their younger sister, Tiana.

Editor: What do Aldergrove rock band 鈥楬er Brothers鈥 and Prime Minister Trudeau share in common?

Both want to see more men stand up for the rights of women.

Earlier this month, Justin Trudeau shared a message calling for more men to join the fight for women鈥檚 rights.

Her Brothers was on the way back from a recent tour of schools in the mighty Peace Country of Alberta where they had shared this message with thousands of kids, when Trudeau鈥檚 comment crossed their radar.

鈥淗ey, that鈥檚 our message,鈥 said lead singer Gabe Penner.

鈥淎s men we are in a unique position to challenge each other to a higher standard in the way we view and treat women.鈥

Inspired by their little sister, the three brothers released their debut album 鈥淪he鈥 early last year. Playing schools, theatres, clubs and community events in both B.C. and Alberta, Her Brothers often ask audiences, 鈥淗ow many of you have sisters? How many of you have mothers?鈥

Because that鈥檚 who we are talking about: our mothers, our sisters, our aunts and grandmothers.

Together, let鈥檚 change the status quo.

Let鈥檚 make Canada and our world a better place by encouraging one half of humanity, to stand up for the other half, for the benefit of all.

Aldergrove
