Editor: As a longtime resident of 91Ô´´, I have seen numerous serious and fatal accidents. I see serious driving infractions every time I drive 16 Avenue.
The most dangerous is passing across a double solid white line, often at intersections with cross streets. But I also see numerous drivers fail to use turn signals, tailgate, speed excessively, run stop signs and traffic lights. I believe most of this is a result of impatience, and a general lack of courtesy.
There needs to be a serious crackdown on all these infractions — not just excessive speed.
