Aldergrove鈥檚 Brandon Potomak is expected to bring a veteran presence and a high-level pedigree to the Trinity Western Spartans hockey team.
The 22-year-old played the bulk of his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Moose Jaw Warriors before ending his junior career in the BCHL with the Chilliwack Chiefs two seasons ago.
He had 11 goals and 30 points in 2014/15 with Chilliwack.
鈥淚n Brandon, we are getting a WHL veteran who has great bloodlines of athleticism and leadership,鈥 said TWU coach Barret Kropf.
鈥淥wning a heavy shot and with speed to burn, Potomak will be a great complimentary boost for any line we put him on. He will instantly make that line stronger and our team harder to play against.鈥
Potomak joins the rest of the Spartans incoming recruiting class as they have also added Jordan Rendle (Surrey), Garrett Mason (Okotoks, Alta.), Dylan Cusmano (Abbotsford), Connor Burk (Coquitlam), Mack Wiens (Winnipeg, Man.) and Brendan Campbell (Cloverdale).
Rendle, Cusmano and Burk are forwards, Wiens and Campbell are defenceman and Mason is a goaltender.
