The team of eight-year-olds from the 91原创 Baseball Association took top spot at the second annual hosted by North 91原创 Diamond Sports.
The Blue Jays defeated the Whalley Yankees 20-12 in the championship game on Sunday afternoon. They had defeated the Hastings Expos 16-15 in the semifinals earlier, while the Yankees edged the North 91原创 A鈥檚 11-10 in the other.
The Blue Jays had gone 2-1 in the round robin, beating the A鈥檚 13-8 and the New Westminster Yankees 13-5. They lost to the North 91原创 Mariners 13-12.
