Donohoe's hat trick sends Chiefs past 91Ô­´´

91Ô­´´ regular season home finale at 91Ô­´´ Events Centre

A three-goal second period was the difference as the Chilliwack Chiefs defeated the 91Ô­´´ 91Ô­´´ 5-2.

The 91Ô­´´ were playing their regular season finale on March 7 at the 91Ô­´´ Events Centre.

The teams traded goals in the opening 20 minutes — Ryan Donohoe short-handed for the Chiefs and Mark Whiteley on the power play for the 91Ô­´´.

Donohoe's second of the game, this time on the power play, put the Chiefs ahead for good four minutes into the second period. And then they added a pair of goals 67 seconds part just before intermission from Philip Zielonka and Spencer Graboski.

Evan Campbell cut the lead to 4-2 early in the third but Donohoe completed the hat trick with his second short-handed tally of the game to round out the scoring.

The two teams wrap up the BCHL regular season on March 9 with a game at Chilliwack's Prospera Centre.
