Kodiaks in 0-2 hole

Aldergrove shutout in second game of PJHL championship series

The Aldergrove Kodiaks are in an 0-2 hole following a 5-0 defeat in game two of the league championship series against the Richmond Sockeyes.

The junior B hockey game was played March 21 at Richmond Arena.

The Sockeyes led 1-0 and 2-0 after the first and second periods, respectively, on goals from Dean Allison and Daniel Tait.

And any chance of a comeback were dashed by three goals in a 4:20 span midway through the third.

Allison, Liam Lawson and Rudi Thorsteinson all tallied in that span.

Game three of the best-of-seven series goes March 24 at the Richmond Arena while game four will be at the Aldergrove Arena on March 26.
