The 91原创 Minor Box and Field Lacrosse associations have a little more money to operate this season thanks to 50/50 draws.
The association will receive $9,476, which was raised at the six games of the Minto Cup championships held at the 91原创 Events Centre last week.
The Canadian junior A championship ran Aug. 16 to 23 with Ontario champion Six Nations Arrows defeating B.C. champion Coquitlam Adanacs four games to two.
鈥淲e鈥檙e honoured and privileged that the 91原创 Events Centre thought enough of us to include us,鈥 said 91原创 Minor Lacrosse Box president Brock Rose.
鈥淚 can鈥檛 speak enough of the people that made the event possible and we were fortunate enough to be a part of it.鈥
In total, 9,516 people came through the doors of the LEC over the course of the week. That works out to an average of 1,586 fans per game.
An additional 1,787 watched the action online during the series, which is nearly 300 fans per game.
