Williams, a Maple Ridge native, caught eight passes 鈥� three of them for touchdowns 鈥� and 111 yards as the Rams went to Nanaimo and played to a .
His efforts earned Williams the B.C. Lions offensive player of the week award.
The Rams (1-0-1) play their home opener on Aug. 18 against the Chilliwack Huskers (0-2). Kick-off is at 8 p.m. at McLeod Park.
