The 91原创 91原创 have acquired 18-year-old goaltender Darren Martin from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League芒鈧劉s Battlefords North Stars in exchange for future considerations.
Hailing from Calgary, the 6芒鈧劉2芒鈧� 190 pound Martin appeared in 22 games for the North Stars last season with a 12-7-1 record, a 2.34 goals against average, and a .923 save percentage.
Martin is no stranger to B.C., having played with the Okanagan Hockey Academy prior to beginning his junior career in Saskatchewan.
The addition of Martin gives what the 91原创 believe will be a solid goaltending tandom to start the 2014/15 B.C. Hockey League season.
Earlier this month, the 芒鈧劉Men acquired fellow SJHL goaltender Tyrell King from the Kindersley Klippers.
